As of 5:50 this afternoon, BGE reported that fewer than 300 customers were without power following the storms. The storms may strengthen some after they push east of the mountains and high ground to our west. Severe weather is more likely this afternoon as we're looking at the main disturbance moving into our area from the southwest. Strong winds, heavy rain and hail from the storm have caused outages across the area. (more...)

Noticing there were two cars nearby, one of which was running, Hardacre knew she couldn't remove the shirt by getting out, so she instead drove away before wrestling it off. Police believe the animal escaped from one of the slaughterhouses along Archer Ave. near York College, reported the New York Daily News . They had reportedly sedated the animal with darts, and were trying to get the slaughterhouse workers to come retrieve it. (more...)

According to sources, a woman ran out of the house Saturday night and flagged down a person who drove her to the State Police barracks to report a crime. WSYX, Columbus' ABC affiliate , reported that officers responded to 28 E. Northwood Avenue around 12:30 a.m after someone called 911 saying a friend was shot.
