Modi approaches Bollywood to bolster his global image

PM Modi spoke extensively about the power and influence Indian film industry wields across the globe. "Our films, music and dance have become very good ways of connecting people as well as societies", the prime minister added.

Our film and entertainment industry is diverse and vibrant. Nobody has recognised the soft power of art and artists in the country before.
