Chick-fil-A Introduces Dine-In Mobile Ordering Nationwide

The chicken chain opened in Reading's Oracle shopping centre on 10 October, but a spokesperson for the centre told the BBC it has now decided not to extend the company's lease beyond its six-month pilot period.

Chick-fil-A chairman and CEO Dan Cathy famously spoke out against marriage equality in 2012 and admitted that he backed anti-marriage equality initiatives.

The restaurant said it will remain in operation until its lease is complete in order to allow for employee resettlement, a move that Reading Pride called "reasonable".

USA web pages Judge Growth reported that the Chick-fil-A Foundation donated hundreds and hundreds of greenbacks to charities stated by campaigners to be adverse to LGBT rights, the BBC stated.

"Chick-fil-A is always evaluating potential new locations in the hope of serving customers great food and award-winning service", a Chick-fil-A representative told Business Insider.

"As we continue to grow and evolve Chick-fil-A's digital experience, we're focused on how the design of the physical restaurant environment can make the ordering and meal fulfillment journey even more seamless and enjoyable for our guests", Cooper said. This money funds sports camps and a holiday gift-giving program with the Salvation Army. We have never donated with the objective of supporting a social or political agenda.

"We are represented by more than 145,000 people from different backgrounds and beliefs, and we welcome everyone".

A spokesman for the taking a watch centre suggested the BBC that "the fine thing to attain is to handiest allow Chick-fil-A to trade with us for the preliminary six-month pilot length, and no longer to expand the lease any further".

Gay rights campaigners in Reading, England, are celebrating after a protest campaign seemingly led to the closure of the UK's first and only Chick-Fil-A restaurant, all over its American founder's supposed anti-LGBT views.

Reading Pride, the local lesbian, gay, bi, transgender advocacy group, released a statement on Twitter that outlined its "staunch" opposition to the restaurant opening.

'We mutually agreed to a six-month lease with the Oracle in Reading as part of a longer-term strategy for us as we look to build a permanent presence in the United Kingdom'.
