With ‘politeness’, Rajnath Singh delivers stern warning to Pakistan

Modi and Xi in Mamallapuram

It has said the decision scrapping the special status of Jammu and Kashmir "complicates the situation".

"I want to highlight the issue of double standards as Kashmir is not a part of India and Hong Kong is a part of China but the proportion of coverage of the Kashmiri people is very less as compared to the issue of Hong Kong", he said.

"The chain was formed to shake the silence of the global community and the worldwide media", she said, adding that Prime Minister Imran had once again told the world that the Pakistani nation will continue to raise voices for Kashmir.

Ties between India and Pakistan hit a low following the Pulwama terror attack in which 40 CRPF jawans were killed. At the same time, Imran had bluntly issued a triple threat to the world if pressure is not put on India over the Kashmir issue after calling for global intervention.

His address came after a large number of people gathered in the capital after Friday prayers to form a "human chain" from D-Chowk to Radio Pakistan Chowk in a show of solidarity with the people of occupied Kashmir.

"We are here to give convey a message to the Kashmir people that whole of the Pakistani nation stands by them and will keep up this", the prime minister told the participants of the human chain at Prime Minister's Office where across the road is located the Diplomatic Enclave housing most of the foreign embassies and missions.

"I understand the anguish of the Kashmiris in AJK seeing their fellow Kashmiris in IOJK under an inhumane curfew for over 2 months".

Continuing to train his guns at Pakistan, Rajnath said, "You divided India into two pieces as part of the two-nation theory in 1947". Forget about Kashmir, don't even think about it. Raise the matter, nothing will happen. "We fear with 900,000 soldiers there, there will be a massacre", the premier had said last month.

Singh also warned Pakistan to change its thinking or else it would be split again like in 1971. "And if the situation persists, then no power can stop Pakistan from being broken up further".

Meanwhile, Indian intelligence sources on Friday informed that Pakistan is planning a big missile test near Karachi port at the same time when PM Modi will host President Xi in Mahabalipuram.
