Wilson’s 3 TDs lead Seahawks’ rally past Mayfield, Browns

Jadeveon Clowney and the Seahawks will face a struggling Browns offense Sunday

Russell Wilson's throw under pressure from the Browns was outside Dissly.

After the Browns took the lead following a freaky sequence of penalties, replay reviews and questionable officials' calls, Wilson led a nine-play, 79-yard drive that proved to be the winning points in a 32-28 win over the Browns. That was the opening Wilson and the offense needed, and a 25-yard Chris Carson run helped Seattle get into the red zone.

Tedric Thompson, Tre Flowers and K.J. Wright each recorded an interception while Ziggy Ansah forced and recovered a fumble for the Seahawks.

Tyler Lockett led Seattle's receivers with 75 yards on seven receptions, while Jaron Brown had a pair of touchdown catches.

Then on fourth down, that's when things got weird.

Nick Chubb was a monster for the Browns, finishing with 122 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns.

Mayfield connected with Jarvis Landry on a short pass to the right. Wilson also ran for a 16-yard TD in the first quarter.

Recovery from Achilles injuries and subsequent surgeries usually come with a timeline of 8 to 12 month meaning the 4-1 Seattle will miss Dissly's presence on the field for at least the rest of this season.

The Seahawks' defense did a commendable job stopping Cleveland three times from the 1, forcing a turnover on downs and preserving Seattle's five-point lead early in the fourth quarter.

The Browns had the ball down to the Seahawks' 1-yard line early in the fourth quarter of their game on Sunday down, 25-20.

The Cleveland Browns kept fans on the edge of their seats during Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks.

The Browns (2-4) were hurt by their own miscues.

Cleveland blitzed on the play and Wilson was hit as he threw by linebacker Joe Schobert.

The 23 year-old tight end was carted off the field after being examined in a tent on the sidelines. A run attempt by Prosise was no good on a two-point conversion, however, allowing the Browns to take a two-point lead into halftime. He also ran for 31 yards and a score, and now has 14 touchdowns to no interceptions on the season.

The Browns then had two long drives of 69 and 92 yards to take a 20-7 lead early in the second quarter, with the game appearing on the verge of being an unlikely rout for the home team.
