Jamie Vardy’s wife gets death threats after allegations by Wayne Rooney’s wife

Rebekah Vardy reveals Coleen Rooney BLOCKED her months ago before public spat

The result? A social media storm of memes, parodies, gifs, you name it. Twitter is ablaze over the so-called "wag wars", branding Coleen "WAG-atha Christie" for her fairly impressive detective skills.

Coleen Rooney, wife of Manchester United's Wayne Rooney before the game.

Meanwhile friends of Coleen say she will not be goaded into coming forward with any further evidence as she is happy with her own investigations.

Posting to her 105,000 followers, Jamie Vardy's wife fumed: "Danielle Lloyd making false claims on This Morning that we have had "similar run-ins" is utter b*****s".

'And I said: 'You have just annihilated me in public and hung me out to dry.

She rounded off her message by writing: 'I'm not being amusing but I don't need the money, what would I gain from selling stories on you?

"I don't know Coleen but I do know Rebekah and what she's going through is what nobody should have to go through so publicly", the former glamour model told the eponymous host, before condemning those who have been threatening Vardy since Rooney shared her investigative findings online.

When asked if they argued, she says, 'That would be like arguing with a pigeon'.

Over the past few months, Coleen turned detective and posted a series of false stories to her private Instagram account to see if they would end up in the publication. Today, both Coleen and Rebekah have spoken out again as a host of other celebs have gotten involved in the dispute. "If she thought that shouldn't she have called Rebekah".

Rebekah recalls Coleen telling her, 'You know, I always really liked you, which makes it harder'.

"I have been told that I should die, that my children should die, my unborn child should die".

'You can tell it that you are right and it is wrong, but it's still going to s**t in your hair'.

However, with so many people already following the story across social media, it's unlikely the buzz around these two ladies will die down anytime soon.

She added in a second tweet: "On a more serious note I've been inundated with messages from everyone but I'm not saying anything more until we've finished looking into this situation properly".

'If I don't talk, then everyone will still think I did it, and the abuse will go on'.

'I have saved and screenshotted all the original stories which clearly show just one person has viewed them.

Obviously like everyone else you read it and are like, 'Oh my gosh.' But I wasn't as shocked seeing who it allegedly was.
