Taylor Swift Announces 2020 Tour Dates To Support 'Lover'

Taylor Swift announces U.S. Tour for 2020 — and it’s only hitting two cities

On Tuesday, the 29-year-old pop titan revealed announced plans to take her latest LP on the road in summer 2020 with a series of shows at European music festivals - and a four-date self-created festival in the USA dubbed, appropriately, Lover Fest. There will be dates Europe prior to this stop.

The singer confirmed she'd be taking the stage for "Lover Fest West" and "Lover Fest East".

Not only are there new tour dates in the future, but Swift will also be making history on July 25 and 26, 2020, as the first woman to open an National Football League stadium at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The two sets of concerts are Swift's only American dates for now.

"For me, the Lover album is open fields and sunsets and SUMMER", Swift wrote on Facebook.

Swift will begin her festival performances at Werchter Boutique on June 20, 2020, in Werchter, Belgium.

Still, there is some good news, Taylor will become the woman to open an National Football League stadium when she shows up in Los Angeles on July 25, 2020. Where we didn't have festivals, we made some. "I want to go to some places I haven't been, and play festivals for the first time in ages".

While stadiums are not new for Swift - since she played stadiums like Gillette, MetLife, First Energy, and Papa John's Cardinal on her Reputation Tour - these shows are a surprise, considering what she said earlier this month.

Opening acts and special guests have yet to be announced.

Fans already enrolled in the "Me!" star's Ticketmaster Verified Fan club can RSVP now for access to the October 14 ticket presale.
