Antonio Brown Calls Raiders 'Haters' for Fining Him over Missed Practices

Raiders' Antonio Brown posts fine notice sent by Mayock

The Oakland Raiders have fined wide receiver Antonio Brown almost $54,000 for missing the Raiders training camp on August 18, and skipping walk through prior to the team's pre-season game on August 22. Devil is a lie. "Everyone got to pay this year so we clear." . The letter also said Brown was previously fined $40,000 for missing preseason training camp August 18, and Oakland could take further action if Brown continues to miss mandatory team activities. Of course, Brown took issue with the notice he received from Raiders GM Mike Mayock, and he took to social media to vent his frustration.

After giving Antonio Brown a $50 million contract past year, it appears the Raiders are now going to take some of the money back in the form of fines, and the receiver definitely doesn't sound to happy about that.

Brown joined the team this offseason to bring new life to Jon Gruden's offense and give quarterback Derek Carr an unstoppable pass-catcher to open up the field. Brown did his best to keep his old helmet which no longer met the NFL's standards, reportedly even going so far as to repaint it.

Brown seems to have sent quite a message to the team by missing a walk-through just four days after being called out by Mayock. After returning to camp with a league-approved helmet, Brown filed another grievance, which he also lost.

From there, the Raiders hoped that the drama was over, but after Wednesday's Instagram episode, things still might not be smooth in Oakland. The former Steelers receiver's season begins Monday night vs. the Denver Broncos.

Mayock added that the Raiders could "impose additional remedies" if Brown missed more team activities during the season.
