The Galaxy A90 is Samsung's next 5G phone, says leak

Galaxy A90 5G

Pushing back the original April launch to this month, Samsung now promises that its redesigned Galaxy Fold - with a new protective film that wraps around the screen and flows into the bezels - is ready to go. Samsung's newest 5G cellphone, nonetheless, is the Galaxy A90 5G, which suggests it matches into its mid-range Galaxy A lineup below phones just like the S10 and Note 10.

Meant to be the kind of flagship device that would certify Samsung as one of the leading innovators in the mobile business, the Galaxy Fold has been anything but.

Additional metal layers underneath the Infinity Flex Display have been included to reinforce the protection of the display.

At the rear, there are three cameras - a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide unit, and a 5MP depth sensor. It is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with support for a 25W fast charging tech. This will feature a small punch hole for the selfie camera much like the Galaxy Note 10 which will be paired with a dual-camera setup that sits on the outside of the phone. However, Samsung is rumoured to set the price around 900,000 KRW. With this, the company has more 5G smartphone than any other OEM presently. That makes the Galaxy A90 5G a brilliant deal at nearly half the price. For the first time, Samsung includes the DeX desktop mode support for an A-series smartphone. Samsung's A-series are known to be more affordable compared to the top of the line, flagship devices.

The top-of-the-line smartphone, available only in a 5G model, is expected to cost around 2.4 million won (US$1,982) in South Korea, according to industry sources familiar with the matter.

The Samsung Galaxy A90 5G runs One UI based on Android 9 Pie and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 512GB). The A90's 5G features could make it an alternative device for consumers who want a 5G device on release but not willing to shell out money for a brand new device at its first release price.
