Mauricio Pochettino dismisses rumours of him leaving Tottenham as 'stupid'

Pochettino signed a five-year contract with Tottenham last summer and claimed he had not yet been tempted to leave

It's going to be a spectacle to marvel, as all north London Derby's are. "Only social media can create something that stupid".

Former England global Gascoigne has followed suit, tipping former side Tottenham to once again secure Champions League football, while the 52-year-old reckons Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will guide his Manchester United side to a top-four finish in his first full season in charge at Old Trafford.

Friedel believes Pochettino has no issue in being ruthless with players and has already shown he can do what needs to be done.

"I will not walk away after Sunday's game". I will be here Monday and Tuesday.

"Do you bet? It's closed now!"

"I was with Daniel and [assistant boss] Jesus [Perez], we were at dinner in London [on Thursday]", Pochettino added.

"I think David Luiz is a very, very good player - we all make mistakes, we all have bad performances as professionals, so there's no reason he can't have a good game on Sunday". Arsenal's last home Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur ended 4-2 but both clubs have strengthened their squads this summer and so we will once again probably have an exciting game that could include many goals. We talked about everything. We needed that conversation, I think it was very positive.

Arsenal fans will be hoping that the experienced defender remains absent from Pochettino's starting XI, which could end up giving the Gunners a real advantage come Sunday.

"Not to coach, but to play against, Paul Merson".

Pochettino brought in Ryan Sessegnon, Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso over the summer, while he saw the early closing Premier League transfer window deny him the chance to complete the signing of Paulo Dybala from Juventus.
