Trailer drops for Star Wars series The Mandalorian on Disney+

Check out the first trailer for The Mandalorian!

Plus, Walt Disney World has announced the name of its new Star Wars hotel, which will have guests in uniform and windows that look like portals into outer space.

The series is set to take place after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order.

While numerous shows that were discussed tonight were previously announced, we also heard about a few new ones: Marvel announced She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel (who Kevin Feige said will also appear in Marvel movies), and Moon Knight. Titled One Day at Disney, the project is a special documentary series that will kick off with a feature film and be accompanied by a hardcover book now available for pre-order at D23. But it's also relying on brands that were acquired by Disney, including Marvel, Pixar, Fox's entertainment businesses, and "Star Wars" home Lucasfilm, making it a formidable newcomer. The latter will focus on Obi-Wan Kenobi and will star Ewan McGregor.

Other Marvel series coming to Disney Plus include WandaVision, starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, who reprise their roles as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch and The Vision, respectively. It still isn't even out, and there is rampant speculation already that there are too many streaming services as-is.

The Mandalorian will debut when Disney+ launches on November 12, 2019.

Info on all of the new titles can be found below! It will be executive produced by Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson. Today's tidbit: sign up and you'll get access to four simultaneous streams, as well as 4K content.

On Thursday, Bob Chapek, chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products revealed some seriously major news for fans of the Mouse House. Interestingly, in news that won't please binge watchers, the company also said that it won't release original series all at once akin to rivals Netflix and Amazon - instead new episodes will roll out weekly. However, Disney World bosses are yet to reveal when they expect the hotel to be open for business. No UK release has been announced.
