Disney unveils bundle with Disney+, ESPN+ and Hulu for $12.99/month

Disney Plus, Hulu and ESPN Plus discounted bundle announced

The upcoming launch of the Disney+ streaming service just got a bit sweeter sounding, with the disclosure of a price point for a package that adds in Hulu as well as ESPN+.

Disney announced that it will leverage its many assets to offer an cheap streaming bundle aimed directly at Netflix: It will bundle Disney+, the ad-supported version of Hulu, and ESPN+ into a $12.99/month bundle, a savings of $5 less than the individual services.

Disney is planning to remake the popular Christmas classic Home Alone on it's new streaming service Disney+.

Comparatively speaking, this is a deal most streaming services can't beat.

Disney said that after launching in the U.S. on November 12 at a starting price of $6.99 monthly, Disney+ will gradually expand internationally with a start in Europe. At that price, consumers will get a bundle that also includes the cheapest Hulu on-demand tier and ESPN's streaming service.

Will you be subscribing to the new Disney+ streaming service? With this bundle, Disney has further sweetened the deal for interested customers. It offers cord-cutters that chance to save a little money. There are a number of issues that Disney would need to sort to make this feasible as Hulu is not available in all markets.

Disney+ launches in November, priced at $7 Dollars per month. There are others out there, notably Apple, Amazon and Google for instance that we've been in discussions with about distribution.

This subscription will become more expensive, but it's great to take advantage of it right now if you can. "What's more, our recent global State of Digital Lifestyles study also revealed streaming is cross-generational with big majorities of all ages from 18 year olds (70 per cent) to the over 60s (63 per cent) saying they stream movies and TV rather than play a DVD or download content".
