The Fortnite World Cup is undergoing, as Tfue, benjyfishy, Bizzle, Zayt, Airwaks, Mongraal, and many other impactful names will collide to measure their versatility. On Saturday, Emil Bergquist Pedersen, a 16-year-old from Norway known as "Nyhrox", and Austria's David Wang, a 17-year-old who uses the handle "Aqua", won the Fortnite World Cup duo championship, beating 50 teams. This is the first Fortnite World Cup ever so the players at the top of the Fortnite World Cup Duos standings will, without a doubt, be leaving their mark on history and walking away with millions of dollars. Both finals are played over six matches, with points awarded for match placement and number of kills. The player or players with the most points at the end of the six matches will be named the victor, Epic Games says. Duo partners divide the prize.

The solo finals begin at 1:15 p.m. EST with the winners festival set for 4:45 p.m.

The surviving players are forced into a smaller and smaller play area as the minutes progress.

The Fortnite World Cup Finals will be streaming live on multiple platforms including YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Mixer, and Caffeine. Tencent also owns a 40% stake in Epic Games.

Epic Games has arranged a three-day festival around the finals, with thousands of fans expected to attend.
