Lori Loughlin’s Daughters Olivia Jade and Isabella Break Silence on Social Media

How Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli’s ‘Common Defense’ Tactic Could Backfire

Loughlin was among the parents charged in "Operation Varsity Blues", a federal investigation into parents paying to falsify athletic and academic records to aid their child's admission to various colleges. Lori and Mossimo's next court date is on August 27, and they've pleaded not guilty to money laundering and conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud in a previous court date.

Olivia's post comes one day after Loughlin's other daughter, Bella, shared a black-and-white photo of her mom in celebration of her birthday.

Investigators said that Loughlin, 55, and husband Mossimo Giannulli, 56, paid $500,000 to a fake charity run by William "Rick" Singer to get Olivia Jade, 19, and Isabella, also known as Bella, 20, into the University of Southern California. "Happy birthday. I love you so much".

Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli are now scheduled to appear in court August 27, where they will be required to state for the record that they understand that by eschewing separate defenses they may leave themselves vulnerable to potential conflicts of interest. "My people [heart emoji]", Olivia commented on the pic after liking it, making this her first online statement in months.

"Happiest Birthday Lori", the caption read.

She did not post any pictures to her social media accounts.

While news outlets have repeatedly claimed the Full House star is facing 40 years in prison, Loughlin herself is reportedly optimistic.

"Happy birthday mama", the caption read.

"And they believe their interests will be advanced most effectively by presenting a united front against the Government's baseless accusations", adding, "Whatever happens, Giannulli and Loughlin will have their interests fully protected, and the case will proceed without undue delay". Entertainment Tonight reports that their "family situation has improved".
