Loughlin was among the parents charged in "Operation Varsity Blues", a federal investigation into parents paying to falsify athletic and academic records to aid their child's admission to various colleges. Lori and Mossimo's next court date is on August 27, and they've pleaded not guilty to money laundering and conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud in a previous court date.
Investigators said that Loughlin, 55, and husband Mossimo Giannulli, 56, paid $500,000 to a fake charity run by William "Rick" Singer to get Olivia Jade, 19, and Isabella, also known as Bella, 20, into the University of Southern California. "Happy birthday. I love you so much".
Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli are now scheduled to appear in court August 27, where they will be required to state for the record that they understand that by eschewing separate defenses they may leave themselves vulnerable to potential conflicts of interest.
