Tetris Royale Is The Battle Royale Game That Nobody Expected

Tetris Royale Making Its Way To Mobile Devices

The new mobile, Tetris Royale version from N3twork "will feature a variety of game modes, from the hallmark 100-player Tetris Royale mode to massive daily competitions of thousands of players to solo Marathon mode where players can hone their Tetris skills", says the release. But if you are getting your vintage games confused, Tetris is the one where you stack awkwardly shaped blocks that fall at speed.

However, even with the popularity and lucrative nature of BR games in mind, very few people could have anticipated the latest entry into the market: "Tetris Royale".

Tetris Royale is now in development for both iOS and Android. "Our team at N3TWORK is inspired to partner with this incredible brand and create new ways for millions of mobile game players around the world to play, compete and enjoy Tetris at an unprecedented scale". Players can win daily challenges, power-ups, and boosters by playing the classic mode. This will be the debut title of a multiyear agreement between the two companies that will see the development of multiple games.

The studio has yet to release any screenshots or video of the game in action, but beta testing will begin in 2019.

Tetris Royale will launch on iPhone and Android devices, as well as iPad, with a beta set to take place later this year.

Earlier this year, The Tetris Company also announced collaborations with FairPlay and Baroque Japan clothing companies, ipsy beauty products, Kanga Care baby accessories, Sock It to Me socks and underwear, and MC2 Saint Barth beachwear.
