Alabama was even more front and center than usual on "The Bachelorette" this week, with Hannah Brown taking fellow native Garrett on a plunge he and his fellow suitors won't soon forget. However, he insists he can forgive her, even when she makes a "boneheaded mistake".
Of course, this meant Hannah and Garrett would do the same, which is pretty normal fodder for "Bachelor" world dating, but it would soon cause a stir among the guys - well, one guy - when word of the nekkid jumpin' got back to the hotel. Dustin and Dylan were sent home. Garrett was the lucky guy who was given a chance to have an one-on-one date with Hannah.
Hannah takes Peter on a Latvian-style spa day where they cleanse one another with leaves. and ultimately end up sweaty in a sauna together. After exchanging stories of heartbreak, she's satisfied Peter's a potential match for her and gives him the rose. This time, it's Jed.
Then last night's episode aired and Jed got to a new milestone with Hannah.
Meanwhile, tempers between two arch rivals flare again when Garrett confronts Luke about discussing the details of Garrett and Hannah's one-on-one date. "It's my body." The whole thing made Hannah confused about what to do with her relationship with Luke. "I'm thankful for you", he said.
However, there's still one major elephant in the room-and that elephant is Luke.
As the guys anxiously await the rose ceremony, Hannah pulls Luke aside to discuss their prior conversation about the bungee jump.
Following the rose ceremony, Hannah told Chris Harrison, "I'm either falling in love with Luke, or he's making me go insane". "You don't own my body, you don't own me". Garrett obliges, saying, "Sweet dreams, Luke", as he leaves.
Friends and family had pointed out the guitar case to Stevens, as she's not watching his relationship with Brown play out on The Bachelorette.
In the comments on the post, a user told Lindsay they believed that Parker "would be abusive in a relationship" based on his behavior on the show, and speculated Brown only gravitated to him due to lust and a penchant for his drama. Something tells me this was a last-minute surprise courtesy of the producers.
Luke rejoins the other men and the fights continue until they're interrupted by host Chris Harrison, who tells them that, for the third straight week, Hannah has dispensed with the traditional cocktail party and they'll head straight to the rose ceremony.
"I'm either falling in love with Luke, or he's making me go insane", she replies.
"What do you like about Luke", Harrison later asks Hannah in private.
