Love Island: Sherif leaves villa due to 'poor judgement'

Sherif has left the show

United Kingdom broadcaster ITV has confirmed that the show's producers and Lanre "mutually agreed" that he would leave.

In last night's Love Island, new girl Maura Higgins took an instant liking to Tommy Fury - who's now coupled up with Instagram influencer, Molly-Mae Hague.

Episode 10 of Love Island 2019 saw Irish bombshell Maura Higgins quite literally shut down the show.

She said: "Then I was with another guy, we broke up a year ago sometime, then we got back together but the trust was gone and it's not going to come back".

"You lot have a great Thursday".

It comes after Sherif revealed on Tuesday that he's left the villa.

Meanwhile, a Love Island spokesman said: "After breaking the villa rules Sherif had conversations with the producers and it was mutually agreed that he would leave the Love Island villa".

Ent Daily has contacted reps for Sherif for comment.

I really enjoyed my time in the villa and look forward to catching up with everyone on the outside.

The 20-year-old chef described the situation as a "case of poor judgment" and agreed that it was best for him to leave the show.

Producers have also refused to specify which rule/s Sherif broke to result in his eviction.

ITV has yet to confirm the reason why Sherif made a decision to leave the show.

Sherif, who sparked a relationship with 28-year-old Anna on the show, made a shock exit this week.

"I don't know if he has actually done anything wrong yet. Get it girl. Do it for me I'm too fat for the villa", while another joked: "Maura isn't shaking tables, she's flipping them".

Maura defends her actions, saying: "I do feel like me and Tommy have a connection and I want to pursue that".

Alex also added a comical caption to the image: 'Things didn't go too well for me past year so I thought I would switch things up and have another go.

Diana said Sherif is a "lovely young man" who thought it was a "great opportunity" to go on Love Island.
