Second woman accuses Cuba Gooding Jr. of groping: police source

Cuba Gooding Jr. arrives at the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles

The woman, who has not been identified, alleged that Gooding touched her breasts at the bar on Sunday night, the network said, citing law enforcement sources.

Heller said he was "shocked and horrified" that the case was being prosecuted after he presented police with security video from the bar that the attorney said showed no criminal behavior by Gooding. He denies the allegations.

Gooding Jr. turned himself in this afternoon at the Manhattan Special Victim's Unit, where he arrived with with his attorney, Mark Heller, who had previously said that surveillance footage showed "no criminality" on his client's part.

According to the New York Post, the woman immediately objected, which led to an argument with Gooding, which was then broken up by security.

Heller said Gooding had "no knowledge" of the alleged 2008 incident, which falls outside the statute of limitations for any potential charges.

Meanwhile, it should be noted that Gooding Jr. was accused of similar allegations back in 2012, when a New Orleans bartender said that he repeatedly pushed her when she tried to calm him down after he got angry with other customers.

After reviewing the security video, Heller said he was hesitant to let Gooding surrender but made a decision to go through with it.

"I am highly confident that he will be totally exonerated", Heller said.

The actor told TMZ that he was at the bar partying with friends but didn't touch anyone. "That's the most important thing - let's not take away from that".

Gooding, a Bronx native, rose to fame after starring in "Boyz N the Hood" in 1991.

Gooding was nominated for an Emmy Award a year ago for playing O.J. Simpson in the FX series "The People v. O.J. Simpson" and recently appeared on Broadway and London's West End as lawyer Billy Flynn in "Chicago".
