I don’t think I was invited to Kareena’s wedding: Shahid Kapoor

Shahid Revealed Priyanka Had Invited Him To Her Wedding Reception

Shahid shared that while he was invited to Nick and Priyanka's reception in Mumbai a year ago, he was not invited to Saif and Kareena's.

In fact, when Kareena Kapoor got married to Saif Ali Khan shortly after breaking up with Shahid Kapoor, she hadn't invited him to her wedding ceremony. But in a latest report Shahid Kapoor has revealed that he "wasn't invited to former girlfriend Kareena Kapoor Khan's wedding. I don't think I was invited", he apprehensively said during the interview.

He also revealed that he regrets not doing the film Rang De Basanti when it was offered to him.

When asked about undoing a film, Shahid admitted it's Shandaar starring Alia Bhatt.

The Kabir Singh star played Deepika's husband in historical hit Padmaavat while Ranveer essayed the role of the antagonist in the film that proved to be one of the best grossers for all three stars. "I think I shared more with her because of that than I did with Ranveer". "Even I was confused when I saw the film", he chuckled. "I like doing roles that challenge me", he added. However he also stressed that sexting wasn't really required. "Equal hi hai, give and take hota hai".

Shahid Kapoor is prepping for the release of Kabir Singh. When asked about why he chose to do the film, Shahid replied, "I usually don't watch too many films in Telugu and it surprised me with its tonality, rawness, simplicity and the fact that it was so real and believable".

In a teaser of the show, we can see Shahid and Kiara indulging in fun banter with Neha Dhupia. The remake is written and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who directed the original.
