NokiaPowerUser has been warned through its sources that HMD Global is facilitating a global event in Italy to dispatch totally new gadgets.
So, now the Nokia Mobile Twitter account has joined the fun teasing launch of a new smartphone on June 6. It makes more sense when you consider that the Nokia 9 PureView is the only major device that has been launched globally, but hasn't made it to India yet.
Now, with a few days to go, the brand has today issued press invites for a launch event in Milan, Italy on the same day - June 6th.
Another phone that is rumoured to arrive at the "global event" is the Nokia X71, which was launched in Taiwan in April. The report claims that Nokia 2.2 will be introduced in the global event to be held on June 6. Reports also suggest that the company might launch the Nokia 9 PureView in India along with the Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 5.2 smartphones. The phone has reportedly passed through certification in India and many other market. The listing revealed that the phone will come with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage configuration. The dimensions of the phone will be 145.96×70.56 millimeters. Aside from this, there is little else that is known about the Nokia 2.2 smartphone now.
However, rather than the Snapdragon 660, the Nokia 6.2 is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 632 processor found in the Moto G7 and Redmi 7.
Under the hood, it packs a 3,320mAh battery with wireless charging support and runs Android Pie as part of the Android One program.
To recap, the primary highlight of the Nokia 9 PureView is the imaging experience - the smartphone sports a whopping five 12-megapixel rear cameras along with a sixth Time of Flight sensor and a 20-megapixel camera on the front.
