With an imminent Death Stranding announcement taking place sometime today, it appears as though PlayStation Taiwan may have jumped the gun and accidentally revealed its release date a little early.
After days of cryptic teasing on Twitter, PlayStation and Hideo Kojima have debuted a new long-form trailer for the new mystery passion project Death Stranding that reveals more about the action horror game's story, gameplay and its November release date, which can be viewed in the player below! In Metal Gear Solid 5, players are able to infiltrate player bases but if collaboration is important in Death Stranding, then potentially players could be helping each other put bases together. Kojima also shared a special message regarding the game, adding that Death Stranding is not a stealth game, instead, it is a unique type of action game that employs something called a Social Strand System for gameplay progress.
Sony might've pulled a switcheroo on our expectations: Death Stranding could launch in 2019 and The Last of Us Part II could be delayed.
It's worth pointing out that Fucito may be merely guessing here due to the fact that the PS4 cover does not feature the "Only on PS" label.
