Warner Media revealed Wednesday that one of the internet's favorite TV shows will be returning to TV in November with the premiere of Season 4.
While the specific date has yet to be revealed, Variety reports the announcement was officially made at the WarnerMedia upfront presentation in NY.
Last year, the series' creators, Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, signed a mammoth deal with Adult Swim which will see them deliver 70 episodes over the coming years. Rick and Morty also has become a multi-platform sensation not just on television, but across digital, gaming, livestreaming, retail, and fan experiences. Unlike with West, they didn't promise to brand an episode the "Radcliffe episode", but according to Harmon and Roiland, the actor is always welcome to drop by the writer's room and "try out a few characters". But now we know when our long infinite-dimensional nightmare will come to an end, because the show's fourth season will debut this November.
Harmon made a decision to take it even further and offered Kanye his own episode. There were 10 episodes in season 3, so the renewal means we should at least get seven more seasons (or five or six slightly fuller ones). Kardashian-West also commissioned Roiland to record a tune where Rick and Mortywish West a happy birthday.
The bad fans might not be going away anytime soon, but fortunately the wait for the next season of Rick and Morty is now shorter than you might think.
