Mr. Ratburn Comes Out As Gay In New ‘Arthur’ Ep & What A Wonderful Kind Of Day

Mr. Ratburn, the beloved teacher in the PBS Kids's show Arthur, gets married in the 22nd season premiere.

"In fairness I would have to say a gay character is not one we would not include", he said at the time.

According to the fan page ArthurWiki, "Mr. Ratburn is primarily known for being a strict teacher, but he has many other hobbies outside of the classroom, including puppetry, playing in a rock band, and bird-watching".
