Florio also said that although the rapper was at the benefit concert on the night, she was home with her husband and was nursing their infant at the time alleged time the assault occurred. TMZ reports that earlier today, Remy Ma turned herself in, was arrested and is being booked for misdemeanour assault. Apparently, Ma punched the Love and Hip Hop star in the face while at a concert last month.

Hmm, we would think that Remy would want to be real right about that, because how hard would be to place her at the alleged crime scene?

She was then released on $1,500 bail. Friend and fellow hip hop artist Fat Joe also came to court to support her.

"She's going to fight this to the end", Florio told the outlet.

Last month, Taylor posted a video showing her injuries while telling her followers on IG that Remy Ma is responsible for her black eye.

"This arrest demonstrates how serious this matter is, it is real life and not reality TV entertainment", Sanford said.

Ma denies the charges. "The victim Brittney Taylor has confidence in our system of justice and will continue to fully cooperate with the authorities", Rubenstein said.

Taylor has since hired attorney Sanford Rubenstein who requested that the police department preserve all the evidence involved in the case including video footage.

The rapper is now on probation after serving a six-year prison sentence for assault, illegal weapon possession and attempted coercion after a shooting outside a Manhattan nightclub in 2007. How's she gonna make money if she has to be home by 8? In the meantime, Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Josh Hanshaft ordered her to stay away from Taylor.
