Bitcoin SV Continues to Plummet Amidst Delisting Trend: Bitcoin Cash Hodlers Celebrate

Bitcoin sentiment analysis suggests king coin could surge higher post imminent pullback

Nevertheless, the reasons of Bitcoin SV delisting aren't revealed. One of the main differentiating characteristics of BSV is its high maximum block size limit, which is now at 128 MB.

Bitcoin Cash, which will potentially benefit from Bitcoin SV's demise, was the complete opposite with an 11% rally in price.

The announcement comes after some drama involving Bitcoin SV's backer Craig Wright, who claims to be Satoshi Nakamoto, the inventor of the original Bitcoin (BTC).

The recent Bitcoin SV (BSV) imbroglio first began when those backing the cryptocurrency took legal action against popular figures within the crypto community who had been outspoken against both BSV and its mastermind, Craig Wright - who is widely seen as a charlatan who incessantly claims that he is the true Satoshi Nakamoto. One of the critics that has been threatened with a libel suit is Hodlonaut, a pseudonymous Twitter user.

Binance delisted Bitcoin SV from its platform on April 15, calling its promoter "a fraud".

Now, it seems that Binance has made the decision to delist the asset.

Jimmy Nguyen, Founding President of Bitcoin Association (which advances the BSV ecosystem) commented: "We will not be derailed from our goal of creating a workable, fast, low transaction fee Bitcoin network that can scale beyond the likes of VISA and can also support enterprise applications as the single global blockchain".

Huobi, OKEx and BitForex are some examples of exchanges that opted to keep offering BSV trading. The losses are even more apparent because most other cryptocurrencies with a comparable market cap have increased in value in the same time period.

In a dramatic move, leading cryptoasset exchange Binance announced today that it will delist Bitcoin Satoshi's Vision (BSV). After a sharp drop that found support at $56, BSV stabilized and it has been trading roughly between $55 and $60 since.
