With Solange no longer part of the line-up of performers, many fans have been taking to social media to share their disappointment over the unexpected cancellation. The "Cranes in the Sky" singer was expected to perform on both Saturdays of Coachella as one of the main acts.
Fans and supporters of Solange Knowles heading to Coachella will unfortunately not get to see Solo grace the stage this year.
Solange was scheduled to perform at the festival on Saturday, April 13 and Saturday, April 20.
The singer took to the Coachella stage previous year with her sister, Beyoncé, who was one of the main headliners.
"[Solange] sends her sincerest apologies, and looks forward to performing at Coachella in the future", the statement said.

Solange herself has not commented on the cancellation yet.
Last month Solange released her fourth album, a follow-up to her 2016 critically acclaimed album A Seat at the Table which won her her first Grammy.
Solange was set to perform along with other A-listers at the festival including, Ariana Grande, Childish Gambino, YG and Kanye West, to name a few. "We rewatching last years performance", one user wrote.
