Donald Trump defends his retweet of Joe Biden parody video

President Trump talks to reporters on the South Lawn of the White House before boarding Marine One on Friday

President Donald Trump, dismissing the potential hypocrisy, said Friday he thinks he "is a very good messenger" when asked whether he is the right person to be criticizing former Vice President Joe Biden amid recent allegations from several women that he made them uncomfortable.

Former Arizona state Rep. David Stringer, who resigned on March 27 as revelations that he was arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting two children came to light, reportedly told an activist a year ago that he doesn't want to "demonize" child sex trafficking, reports The Arizona Republic.

Biden is scheduled to make remarks on Friday to the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers in Washington as he considers a 2020 Democratic presidential bid. Just browse Biden memes on Twitter and you'll find several shots of him these past several years cozying a little too close to Obama administration officials' wives, Congress members' daughters, etc.

The welcoming, mostly male audience responded with laughter and cheers. At one point, he brought a young boy on stage, put his arms around him, and made a joke about it.

Biden did say the controversy "is going to have to change somewhat how I campaign".

"I'm sorry I didn't understand more".

During the 2016 campaign, at least 15 women accused Trump of misbehavior ranging from sexual harassment and sexual assault to lewd behavior around women.

"Social norms are changing". But I'll always believe that governing is about connecting with people. I'll be much more mindful, that's my responsibility and I'll meet it.

The first woman to make allegations against Biden, former Nevada assemblywoman Lucy Flores, tweeted on Friday afternoon that Biden's jokes at the IBEW event prove that he "hasn't reflected". Following Flores's account, three other women also made similar accusations against Biden.
