Miley Cyrus resurrects Hannah Montana, causes social media frenzy

Miley Cyrus

Predictably, right after posting, social media went insane and fans proudly shared and re-posted more of her IG Stories while also showing SO much love to the former Disney superstar!

Miley has been posting throwbacks to her Hannah Montana days on her socials for the past week or so, and we're always hopeful that a revival might be on the cards!

Next it was "The Best of Both Worlds", where Cyrus exclaims, "The best of both worlds, like when you take an upper and a downer at the same time".

Cyrus started off by sharing pics of herself the salon, before presenting her new haircut and color - and it looks just like her former onscreen alter ego, Hannah Montana.

"It was so hard going back and forth that I decided I'll just be Hannah forever", says Miley in a post.

"Hannah Montana is back?" "She was getting a lot of press this week-thanks to me". "Who's wigless and shook?"

Cyrus took her new look out on the town, driving in her auto while singing hits from the 2006 show like "Best of Both Worlds" and "Nobody's flawless", as well as the 2013 Migos song, "Hannah Montana". One clip shows her rocking to "Nobody's flawless", while jokingly declaring, "except me of course". "#10YearChallenge." Honestly, we can hardly tell the difference, girl.

She earlier posted photos while she was undergoing hair changes and the same confirmed that her new look was permanent and not a wig. The new look doesn't appear to have any real connection to a Hannah Montana comeback or anything.

This next picture is going to bring the inner child out of you.
