Where to watch PlayStation's State of Play livestream

Sony's First State Of Play Game Announcement Broadcast Will Appear On March 25, 2019

The first such "State of Play" showcase will debut on Monday, March 25, and promises a series of game reveals, trailers, news, and more for PS4 and PSVR.

Since the advent of the Internet, many video game companies have started opting to provide announcements regarding its products directly to the consumer via live streams, and it looks as if Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is set to get in on the action. You'll be able to tun in via on Twitch, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook, or simply catch up on the video after the fact. But we're really hoping for some games to be revealed.

The firm hasn't announced whether it will host PlayStation Experience event this year, or if it will or won't attend Paris Games week and gamescom 2019. Sony suggested in its announcement that this will be the first of many streaming presentations that it airs throughout the year, and that new ones will be coming regularly.

If we had to guess, we'd say it's likely that we'll hear more about Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us Part II and Death Stranding, all of which are hotly-anticipated titles but none of which now have known release dates.

Indeed, Sony's Sid Shuman has already confirmed that additional State of Play broadcasts will air throughout the year. Thankfully, we won't have to wait too much longer to find out what SIE has planned. A Japanese language live stream will also be available on YouTube.
