Since the advent of the Internet, many video game companies have started opting to provide announcements regarding its products directly to the consumer via live streams, and it looks as if Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is set to get in on the action. You'll be able to tun in via on Twitch, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook, or simply catch up on the video after the fact. But we're really hoping for some games to be revealed.
The firm hasn't announced whether it will host PlayStation Experience event this year, or if it will or won't attend Paris Games week and gamescom 2019. Sony suggested in its announcement that this will be the first of many streaming presentations that it airs throughout the year, and that new ones will be coming regularly.
Indeed, Sony's Sid Shuman has already confirmed that additional State of Play broadcasts will air throughout the year. Thankfully, we won't have to wait too much longer to find out what SIE has planned. A Japanese language live stream will also be available on YouTube.
