Apex Legends' season 1 battle pass, new character Octane launching Tuesday

Get your squad ready for Tuesday this week

The Apex Legends Season 1 Battle Pass becomes available tomorrow, March 19, and is available for 950 Apex Coins. Players who buy the pass and level up will gain rewards like weapon skins, banner frames, and more. Buying the pass automatically gets you a trio of new skins, one for Lifeline, one for Wraith and one for Mirage, although they're all a little grim and drab for my liking.

Season 1 of Apex Legends is finally coming.

Of course, with the arrival of season 1 comes Apex Legends' first Battle Pass.

They posted: "What others call risky, Legends call Tuesday".

For a full break down of the Battle Pass including a FAQ, you can check out the official page on the Apex Legends website here.

Purchasing the Apex Legends Battle Pass will instantly rewards players with a number of skins. Octane has always been rumored within the Apex Legends community, as his appearance had been data-mined weeks ago, with subsequent leaks piling up as time went on.

The Battle Pass will retail for 950 Apex Coins (equal to $9.50) at a baseline but you can also purchase the Battle Pass Bundle for 2,800 Apex Coins to unlock the next 25 levels of the Battle Pass. For those who don't purchase the Battle Pass, they can still earn one Wild Frontier Legend skin, five Apex Packs and 18 Wild Frontier stat trackers for free. Turns out the leaks surrounding Apex's latest addition were pretty spot on; a post on PlayStation Blog describes the fresh-faced Legend as a breath of fresh air, and he'll be available to play tomorrow, when Season 1 begins in earnest.

"We've tried to create a Battle Pass where first-time spenders can get a strong base of weapon and character cosmetics to fill out their initial collection at a deep discount".

You'll receive all the rewards up to your Battle Pass level (which is your current level for the season) retroactively!
