This season Guardiola has led City to the EFL Cup title once again, and the team is in the driver's seat in the Premier League. City have a two goal advantage in Champions League against Shalke and are in quarter final of the F.A Cup.
They may also never get a better chance than in the next few months. But Guardiola seems set on staying in England, as least for the short term.
Guelpa was the journalist who broke the news that Cristiano Ronaldo would leave Real Madrid for Juventus previous year. "I'm not going to Juventus in next two seasons", Guardiola told the media after the victory. However it seems Guardiola won't be joining Juventus this season.
SunSport however reports that City gaffer Guardiola after leading his armies to beat Watford 3-1 at home refuted the claims he will leave the Etihad next season for Serie A.
A UEFA statement published on Thursday confirmed European football's governing body was launching an investigation into the Premier League champions for an alleged breach of FFP rules. However, they have only failed to score against City once, in a 2-0 defeat in 2008, and they will need to maintain that record if they are to salvage something against the Premier League Champions. But sources close to Guardiola insist there is no truth to claims he is looking for an exit route. Among the allegations are claims City over-inflated sponsorship deals to avoid FFP penalties.
However, the five-time Scudetto victor told reporters after Friday's 4-1 Serie A win over Udinese that Juve had developed an "obsession" with Champions League glory at the expense of acknowledging their considerable achievements elsewhere in his tenure. Numerous claims predate the arrival of Guardiola as manager in 2016, since when the club have excelled.
But City manager Pep Guardiola said he did not feel extra pressure himself. "I thought they are the favourites because I thought, "if they can win three, they can win four", but there still remains some incredible clubs".
"I'm 28 years old now so obviously my next contract will decide where I am for maybe the end of my career".
It must be a big relief for Manchester City and it's fans to hear that Guardiola isn't leaving England.
"Manchester City voted to install VAR this season".
