McCabe Confirms DOJ Considered 25th Amendment, Rosenstein Serious About Wearing Wire

Andrew McCabe Says He Opened Trump Probes in Case He Was 'Fired,' Confirms 25th Amendment Talks

The details of the DoJ meetings were first revealed in a New York Times report in September. "The same kind of thing was happening here, in the Oval Office". Rosenstein leaves the office.

The dossier helped fuel the allegations of collusion that led to the appointment of special counsel Robert Mueller.

"McCabe in [the 60 Minutes] interview says no, it came up a couple of times and it was so serious that he took it to the lawyers at the Federal Bureau of Investigation to discuss it", Pelley told CBS This Morning.

Asked on CNN's "State of the Union" on Sunday whether McCabe should be charged - as some Trump associates have - with lying to investigators, Democratic Representative Adam Schiff said prosecutors must make an objective determination.

The DOJ said in its statement "the Deputy Attorney General never authorized any recording that Mr. McCabe references".

"The deputy attorney general was definitely very concerned about the president, about his capacity and about his intent at that point in time".

Investigators looking into the conduct of the FBI's big 2016 investigations asked McCabe about how that information found its way into the newspaper and concluded that he "lacked candor" in his answers.

Sara Carter, who has investigated McCabe and the FBI's handling of the Russian Federation investigation for several years, will appear on Fox New's Sean Hannity Thursday night (tonight) at 9 p.m. EST, along with Gregg Jarrett, to discuss the explosive Pelley interview with McCabe.

The investigation, Crossfire Hurricane, was tainted with bias and potential abuse of surveillance powers.

Rosenstein is due to step down from his position, following the confirmation of William Barr as attorney general this week. McCabe served as director for less than a year before he was sacked himself.

Meanwhile, we do know that Comey and his dirty crew used the unverified Christopher Steele dossier, which was funded by Hillary Clinton's campaign, to get a secret court warrant to spy on the Trump campaign.

In the interview, Mr McCabe explained: "The discussion of the 25th Amendment was simply". It also gives us a bare-bones outline of McCabe the man, who seems a model of rectitude despite such vulnerabilities as two possession-of-alcohol citations he received as an underage undergraduate at Duke University. In the message, Strzok discussed an "insurance policy" in the "unlikely" event that Trump was elected. "To clarify, at no time did Mr. McCabe participate in any extended discussions about the use of the 25th Amendment, nor is he aware of any such discussions".

"Disgraced FBI Acting Director Andrew McCabe pretends to be a "poor little Angel" when in fact he was a big part of the Crooked Hillary Scandal & the Russia Hoax - a puppet for Leakin' James Comey. There should be no direct contact between the president and the director, except for national security purposes", he wrote.

McCabe would surely have uncomfortable moments in a hearing into his performance in office and his handling of all relevant parts of the Russian Federation probe. The inspector general later issued a report about McCabe's repeated lies.

McCabe was sacked in March by then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions after an inspector general report concluded McCabe misled investigators about his role in directing other officials at the FBI to speak to The Wall Street Journal about his involvement in a public corruption investigation into the Clinton Foundation.
