Ariana Grande’s "Small Charcoal Grill" Tattoo Now Means "Japanese BBQ Finger"

Ariana Grande's updated tattoo

The singer's brand new tattoo is no longer "embarrassing.' Ariana Grande chose to fix her palm ink after her followers told her the Japanese characters did not say '7 Rings" as she was intending but 'BBQ Grill!'

Below, check out a screenshot of Grande's recent Instagram Story, posted at some point early Thursday, wherein the "thank u, next" singer gives a good-humored eulogy to to the "tiny charcoal grill" tattoo that she "actually really liked".

"For anyone who wonders, it now says she has bbq fingers", Frederick said, adding in another tweet: 7 rings in Japanese is: 七つの指輪 Her current tattoo reads: "Charcoal BBQ Grill Fingers". "RIP tiny charcoal grill".

Acknowledging the error on her Twitter account, she wrote in a now-deleted message: "Indeed, I left out [some characters] which should have gone in between". It hurt like f**k n still looks tight. "Miss u man. i actually really like u", the "Sweetener" star quipped in an Instagram Story with a shot of some new symbols scrawled on her palm. "I wouldn't have lasted one more symbol lmao", she tweeted.

Consulting with her "tutor" Ayumi, Grande was told to insert the character for "finger" (指) above and in between the existing characters. As Japanese is read from top to bottom, and from right to left, the suggestion her tutor made wasn't arbitrary, since placement can alter the meaning of a phrase. She also accumulated multiple tattoos when engaged to ex-fiancé Pete Davidson, whose tattoo artist advised the Saturday Night Live comedian to "stop with the girlfriend tats" because "relationships come and go", according to Page Six. Regardless, we hope Grande does not seek any more painkillers to sit through another fix-up session.
