According to reports, Porter died in November from a form of the lung inflammation.

As previously reported, Porter died on November 15, 2018, at the age of 47.

Porter, who shares three children with ex Sean "Diddy" Combs, was found dead in her home aged 47 on 15 November a year ago, with the circumstances surrounding her death pending investigation. They have three children: twin girls Jessie James and D'Lila, 12, and son Christian, 20.

Diddy released a statement days after her passing, captioning an old video of the two, filmed when Kim was pregnant: "For the last three days I've been trying to wake up out of this nightmare". Combs also helped raise 27-year-old Quincy Brown, Porter's son with 80's singer and record producer Al B. Sure.

"She was a loving mother and devoted friend. Kim was the type of woman who changed lives for the better", the Porter, Goodwin and Combs families say in a statement January 25 to The Associated Press. At the time, TMZ reported Diddy's ex-girlfriend had been suffering flu-like symptoms, and possibly pneumonia, for several weeks.

The funeral was held Saturday in Porter's hometown of Columbus, Georgia, at a megachurch that can seat 2,500. I took a lot of 'L's... that's life. But I haven't. I don't know what I'm going to do without you baby.
