Kylie Jenner loses ‘Most Liked Instagram Post’ to an Egg

Kylie's picture which introduced daughter Stormi Webster to the world with the picture was initially the most liked picture of all time with over 18 million likes.

A photo of an ordinary, brown egg has broken Kylie Jenner's record for most-liked photo. "We got this", the caption under the sole photo on the account reads.

It took about 10 days, but the egg has officially surpassed Jenner's in likes, with more than 29 million likes-and counting-as of morning January 14.

This awe-inspiring egg has received over 26 million likes on Instagram. "What a time to be alive", it said.

Jenner responded to being dethroned by seemingly murdering the anonymous egg's cousin.

In a cracking case of internet trolling, the masses have spoken and voted to make a picture of an egg named Eugene the most-liked Instagram post in history, marking one of the most freakish viral crazes to date. If you look at that post today you'll get distracted by an endless stream of eggs in the comments.

This is a very popular egg. "Thank you so much for all of your support and messages". But an egg picture defeated her on Instagram.

The clip (originally shared on Snapchat) already has more than 17.45 million views.

For some people it could be hitting the hundred mark, others it could be far more, and some of us are just happy to break double digits.

The Facebook-owned social media platform has more than one billion monthly active users.
