"Stranger Things" Debuts Season Three Trailer & Announces Premiere Date

Netflix Announces ‘Stranger Things’ Season 3 Premiere Date (Watch)

Earlier today, the streaming giant revealed a very cryptic and freaky teaser trailer of Stranger Things season three.

It includes footage from Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve from the year in question.

Now we indeed have an official release date of July 4th (Independence Day), 2019.

Both the video and poster feature the cryptic tagline for the series: "One summer can change everything".

Sci-fi fan favorite Stranger Things is officially back this summer. Back in December 2018, Netflix has already released a teaser video that featured all the titles of the episode for the upcoming season.

Along with the release date, a new teaser clip and poster were unveiled early on Tuesday, just minutes after the New Year had descended on the United States east coast.

Happy New Year! As the clock ticked down to midnight, Netflix officially announced the Stranger Things 3 premiere date revealing that the series will return on July 4, 2019!

Netflix posted a new Stranger Things Season 3 trailer on YouTube and it's a blast from the past. They want to deliver something bigger and better than a year ago.

We also know Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride), Maya Hawke (daughter of Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman) and Jake Busey will join the cast and Hawkins' shopping centre will play a pivotal role in the story.

Fans who were quick on the PAUSE button noted that certain words in the code were highlighted, and the message read, "When blue and yellow meet in the west".
