Hetmyer, Rutherford, Paul snapped up at IPL auction

Yuvraj Singh Sold For Rs 1 Crore to Mumbai Indians at IPL Auction 2019 Check His Price at Auctions

The Indian team Under-19 captain Prabhsimran Singh has been bagged by Kings XI Punjab in the IPL 2019 Auction for a whopping amount of INR 4.80 Crores. Last year, Kings XI Punjab bought Yuvraj at his base price of Rs 2 crore.

Unadkat wasn't the only case as alike him Wriddhiman Saha also got back to Sunrisers Hyderabad for INR 1.2 Crore whom SRH released before the retention deadlines. A total of 70 players can be bought at the auction with 20 slots available for the the foreign players. On Tuesday, the Royals lapped him up him after a bidding battle with KXI, CSK and Delhi Capitals.

However, there were no takers for 37-year-old Yuvraj, who was a sought after player in the IPL for a long time and during his prime, attracted a Rs 16 crore bid. Plenty of players went unsold at the auction while numerous players' names weren't called out.

Shivam Dube, a star of the T20 Mumbai League, as predicted caused activity among the franchises bagging a Rs 5 crore contract from Royal Challengers Bangalore. Not sure if Yuvraj Singh will share the same feeling after his price tag.

But he was soon pipped by West Indies team mate Carlos Brathwaite who was picked up for INR 5 Crore by Kolkata Knight Riders, who staved off competition from Kings XI Punjab.

Axar Patel has made the short journey from Punjab to Delhi and will represent Delhi Capitals.

Indian Test player Hanuma Vihari was sold to Delhi Capitals for Rs two crore, four times his base price.

A number of New Zealand players were avaliable at auction but were also left unsold including Corey Anderson, Jimmy Neeshamm Glenn Phillips and Luke Ronchi.

He entered into the auction with a base price of Rs one crore and could still find a buyer later in the auction if he is among the unsold players brought back into the pool by the franchises.
