Trump Calls Reporter "Rude, Terrible" In Tense Press Conference Exchange

[VIDEO] Donald Trump, CNN's Jim Acosta Argue at Press Conference

President Donald Trump called CNN correspondent Jim Acosta "a rude and bad person" on Wednesday when the reporter continued to press and interrupt the president about his characterization of the migrant caravan is an invasion.

He then tried to ask a question about the Russian Federation investigation, but Trump dismissed the question and told Acosta to "put down the mic". "You are are a rude, awful person". You shouldn't be working for CNN.... To Jim Acosta, as he tried to explain the migrant caravan to the president: 'Thank you for telling me that, I appreciate it.'11. "You and I have a difference of opinion", Trump replied.

Acosta, 47, regularly grills Sanders at press conferences where she defends Trump's most controversial policies.

"Well, I'm not a big fan of yours either, to be honest", Trump told Alexander.

Acosta then rose from his chair again and began speaking over his fellow reporter, prompting Trump to once again characterize him and his network as the "enemy of the people".

"This president's ongoing attacks on the press have gone too far".

President Donald Trump on Wednesday accused the PBS correspondent Yamiche Alcindor, who is black, of asking a "racist question" about whether his rhetoric emboldened white nationalists.

Republicans lost control of the House of Representatives to Democrats, but Trump shrugged that off, casting Tuesday's congressional election results as "very close to complete victory" for Republicans and saying he could negotiate easier on some issues with Democrats, anyway. "You aren't the best". He praised Rep. Nancy Pelosi, calling her "very smart", but then warned House Democrats that he would have Senate Republicans probe their conduct, should they use their newfound subpoena power to investigate him.

Sarah Silverman, host of I Love You, America, also went off.

He also said, "When you report fake news, as CNN does a lot, you are an enemy of the people". I actually don't even know how to describe it.

"I don't believe it", President Trump said.

When the president tries to call on another journalist, Acosta refuses to give up the microphone and asks about special counsel Robert Mueller probe into Russia's alleged meddling in the 2016 presidential election. The freedom of the press is protected by the Constitution.
