Prince Harry and Meghan Markle New Zealand Day 2 highlights

Meghan Markle Prince Harry New Zealand

The royal couple have now journeyed across Cook Strait to the Abel Tasman National Park, where they will go on a bush walk and be treated to a barbecue.

Though Markle was in the public eye way before marrying Prince Harry as an actress on the United States of America drama, Suits, her new plush status as a royal means that she is vulnerable to the public in a way that she has never been before. While we are eager to know if the couple will be welcoming a baby boy or a little princess, the Duke of Sussex already has a nickname for his little one.

At an evening event where Meghan spoke, she said: "Bravo New Zealand, for championing this right 125 years ago for the women who well deserve to have an active voice and an acknowledged vote".

Meghan, who describes herself as a feminist, was speaking to a group of mainly women guests in Wellington that included Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.

Meghan concluded her powerful speech by quoting Kate Sheppard, a prominent figure in the women's suffrage movement in New Zealand.

"I've been there, you've been there, and we now need to reach out to those who can never even imagine themselves in that place", he said.

After months of speculations, on October 15, Kensington Palace released the following statement: 'Their Royal Highnesses are really pleased to announce that the Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in Spring 2019.

"I'm sure a nanny was discussed too, but the main focus for her was on health and weight", the friend claimed.

The royal duo visited Courtnay Creative on Monday to meet students and professionals in Wellington, New Zealand's film and creative industries center.

As well as Australia and New Zealand, the couple has also visited Fiji and Tonga on their tour.

The Duchess of Sussex showed off her welly-wanging - boot throwing - skills on the latest stop of her 16-day tour with Prince Harry.

Last year, Inside Edition found a 1993 news segment about incident, which involved an interview with a precocious 11-year-old Meghan.
