OnePlus major leak reveals Android flagship OnePlus 6T in full glory

OnePlus 6T teased yet again, shows the phone partially with thin bezels and sleek body

These leaks come as OnePlus 6T is expected to launch globally on October 17.

The images don't show a fingerprint sensor anywhere, which is in line with OnePlus' announcement that the 6T will have an in-display sensor. He talked a bit about price too, specifically as it relates to that new in-display fingerprint reader that carries a "definite cost", meaning you should all prepare for a higher price than the OnePlus 6.

OnePlus 6T, feature-wise, will be quite identical to the original OnePlus 6. This is perhaps one of the most crucial changes which the OnePlus 6T comes with.

In a recent interview with CNET, OnePlus co-founder and CEO Pete Lau reiterated a few things that we already knew. Even before its official launch, courtesy of leaks and renders, we know nearly everything about the upcoming OnePlus 6T.

New images shared by technology blog WinFuture purportedly reveal every inch of the OnePlus 6T, including the new smaller notch at the top of the display.

The battery on the OnePlus 6T has also been upgraded to 3700mAh which will be promising better battery life.

Finally, Lau added that there's no IP rating, so no official water resistance, but added that the OnePlus 6T is apparently more water-resistant than any of its predecessors and can supposedly survive a drop in the sink or a splash during a rainstorm.

Apart from in-screen fingerprint scanner, OnePlus 6T is also going to come with a new screen design.

Though there is no sign of the in-screen fingerprint sensor, we are sure it is hidden beneath the display and will light up at the base only when the user picks the phone to use it similar to how Vivo V11 Pro works [image below].

The report also revealed that the OnePlus 5T was supposed to feature the technology, but the feature wasn't as fast or efficient as OnePlus wanted, so it killed the project and saved it for a later date. OnePlus earlier confirmed that the new smartphone will have this feature. The OnePlus 6T is likely to ship with Android 9 Pie OS with Oxygen OS 9.0 to offer the latest OS from Google. In all likelihood, the OnePlus 6T will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 SoC and will be available in two memory configurations.
