Manchester United's Will Vint leaves club because of visa issues

Pogba should have been captain from the off says Scholes

However, the World Cup-winning midfielder impressed for Manchester United in their opening Premier League game against Leicester City, which led to Jose praising him.

While the Portuguese manager has remained in charge of United, for the time being, this latest report states that Zidane would be willing to wait until the 2019/20 season to take over the reins at the Manchester club. It is being reported that the player has been given permission to participate in training sessions with the ball, while Jose Mourinho expects him back in full training by the end of the week.

United's executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward was unable to strike a deal for either player Tottenham's Toby Alderweireld and Bayern Munich's Jerome Boateng who were both wanted by Mourinho.

City were reportedly raging after Jorginho made his move to Chelsea in the summer and they also missed out on another top target when Fred chose to join arch-rivals Manchester United instead.

Pogba is prepared to wait until January or next summer, but meanwhile his relationship with Mourinho will come under more scrutiny amid fears it has reached breaking point.

Asked about his situation, Pogba said: 'There are things I can't say, otherwise I will get fined. You don't really know the team, you don't really know the players, you don't know how they're going to perform from one week to the next.

Now, as per Telegraph, Mourinho has been left bemused after hearing Pogba's comments.

Pogba has been linked with a move to Barcelona in recent weeks, with the Spanish champions said to have already had a bid turned down by Manchester United.

Even if the two can resolve their differences, it is unlikely to alter Pogba's determination to leave Old Trafford for a second time.
