Parents Hiring Coaches To Help Their Kids Get Better At Playing Fortnite

That's where the money is, ain't it? There have been petitions and discussions on how bad video games are for our kid's growing minds. It's the hottest video game in the world right now with millions of people (mostly kids) playing the game, and tons of them watching other people play the game on popular streaming sites like YouTube and Twitch.

Apparently, some parents simply don't want their kids to lose at Fortnite, while others are actually getting tutored in all things battle royale themselves to avoid being crap and the embarrassment that inevitably follows. The tutor provided the kid with four hours of Fortnite lessons, in exchange for $50.

The Wall Street Journal recently found several families are now hiring tutors to teach their kids ... how to win at Fortnite.

Some of the parents interviewed by WSJ said they hoped their children would turn their video game hobby into a future career or use it to get scholarships. Parents usually find Fortnite coaches via social media or on sites such as Gamer Sensei and Bidvine.

'There's pressure not to just play it but to be really good at it, ' said Hicks told the Wall Street Journal.

Fortnite, the Epic game that has already broken many records in a one year of time, now went beyond being viral.

Now, according to a new report from The Wall Street Journal, parents are spending from $10 Dollars to $50 USD per hour on Fortnite coaches so their kids can become better Fortnite players.

Sadly, it would seem that children don't always have the tactical nouse or fine-tuned reflexes of older Fortnite players, and some parents have become concerned that their progeny haven't been able to secure that elusive Victory Royale.

Interestingly, the new trend has also surprised Fortnite coaches.
