Samsung Galaxy S10 might feature triple-camera setup

Samsung Galaxy X foldable battery

A new filing by the FCC in the U.S. shows the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 9 S-stylus will have Bluetooth capabilities.

The Korean electronics giant said Thursday that it expects to record an operating profit of 14.8 trillion Korean won ($13.2 billion) for the three-month period ended June 30, an increase of 5 percent over the year-ago-period. These results are expected to be posted on the last Friday of the month following the quarter, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.

Originally we'd heard that the Galaxy S10 would be arriving earlier than the S9 did this year, with many expecting it to be unveiled at CES at the start of January.

The iPhone X's weaker performance also affects Samsung's bottom line, as its Display division is the sole provider of those expensive iPhone X OLED panels.

It came after Samsung record operating profits for the previous four consecutive quarters. But as early as now, analysts are viewing its second quarter performance as the first decrease in seven quarters. Now that mid-2018 is here and the expected release date is drawing near, new Chinese and Korean rumors concerning the specs of the Galaxy X emerge, presenting truly revolutionary technologies. Now, an exclusive report from AllAboutSamsung is offering some technical details on the S10's triple-camera setup.

Samsung is reportedly leading the race to build foldable smartphones with the development of a curved battery that it can produce in large numbers.

The new phone is expected to have a 6.38-inch display, slightly bigger than the current model's 6.32-inches.
