Boston Celtics: Game 7 will be the Jayson Tatum show

LeBron James of the Cavaliers reacts in the second half against the Boston Celtics during Game Seven of the 2018 NBA Eastern Conference Finals at TD Garden

Tomorrow night is when LeBron James takes the Cleveland Cavaliers back to the NBA Finals, or it's when he quite possibly plays his last game as a member of the Cavaliers.

The Cavaliers posted an update on Love's condition Saturday, saying he was evaluated prior to the team's flight to Boston and was reportedly experiencing concussion symptoms.

"I was proud of the way we fought back", said Boston coach Brad Stevens. They're also significantly younger, which will play a role as the teams meet for their third game in five days. After Kevin Love went down in the first quarter with a head injury, LeBron proved his greatness again by finishing with 46 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists to force a Game 7 against the Boston Celtics.

"I don't want to talk so much about [whether it's his last game in Cleveland], but I think just his performance was incredible", Kyle Korver said.

James has been simply incredible during these playoffs, averaging 33.9 points per game (most in the playoffs) and has scored at least 40 points on seven different occasions. In the Cavs' 96-83 loss in Game 5, he looked, played and acted like he was out of gas.

The importance of Love in that category wasn't lost on the Celtics.

He admitted to fatigue afterward, and then played all but two minutes in Game 6 despite a sore knee from a collision with Nance.

James weathered an early storm by the visiting C's, and took over the game by playing point-center with an energetic, defensively active reserve-heavy second unit early in the second quarter.

Although Boston remains unbeaten at home in the playoffs, the Celtics know they can't afford to be complacent against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

"Very encouraging", Lue said of the contributions.

He has struggled for much of the postseason, shooting just 39 percent from the floor and 35 percent from long distance, but Love has still been the wine and gold's second-best scorer, averaging 13.9 points. "And the difference is I think that Smart - when Smart says ugly and physical, in his mind, that's lovely". Marcus Morris has been tasked with being one of the primary defenders against LeBron James, knowing full well he - or any National Basketball Association player for that matter - can only hope to slow him down. They need to bring out something positive from every single player, and on both ends.

"So nothing there as far as to be concerned about", Stevens said. One thing is for certain: he will be rested. The Celtics know that they can come together and beat James at his best, but they need each and every player to do it. "That's no excuse, so we're looking forward to it".

James' offensive explosion took hold late in the first half as the Cavaliers took an 11-point advantage into the main break. His shooting ability forced Boston's big men to leave the paint and defend Love on the perimeter, which opened up the interior for James to score. James collected his second straight NBA Finals MVP award after closing the series out with 37 points, 12 rebounds four assists and two steals in 45 minutes, while also shooting the ball extremely well (12-for-23 overall, 5-for-10 from three and a ideal 8-for-8 from the foul line). But in an instant, as he laid on the court grimacing, it could have all come crashing down. He was the most consistent Cavalier on the night, and his presence helped the team to negate damage when the Celtics would begin a scoring run.

The Cavaliers are 4-2 all-time in Game 7s - including their home victory over in in the First Round. "That makes it even more fun to be around these guys".
