The Supreme Court has cleared the way for more states to bet on sports gambling as a source of revenue.
Company president and chief executive Mark Frissora says Monday's ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court could end illegal sports wagering by replacing it with a well-regulated alternative that sports fans can trust.
State officials and representatives of the casino industry greeted the ruling with something like glee.

Major League Baseball said it would "continue to support legislation that creates air-tight coordination and partnerships between the state, the casino operators and the governing bodies in sports" toward protecting the integrity of the game.
Some others in Kentucky saw the court ruling as an opportunity for Kentucky which faces more than $40 billion in unfunded public pension obligations and the consequent squeeze on funding for education and other state government services.
The American Gaming Association, a trade group that represents casinos, predicted that the ruling would generate revenue without endangering the integrity of sports competitions.

The decision allows IL to move ahead with proposals to legalize and tax sports betting, which supporters say would transform a black market industry into one that could produce much-needed revenue.
Sports leagues had expressed concerns about any expansion of sports gambling.
"Because it's in our constitution right now that sports betting is not allowed", said Attorney General Marty Jackley.

Five justices agreed with every part of Alito's opinion, and Stephen Breyer with most of it. Ruth Bader Ginsburg, joined by Sonia Sotomayor, dissented, saying the majority had ruled too broadly. She said that instead of using a "scalpel to trim the statute" her colleagues used "an axe".
The NFL plans to ask Congress "to enact a core regulatory framework for legalized sports betting" following the Supreme Court's ruling that would allow sports wagers in most states. Among its sponsors was Sen. Frank Pallone Jr., D-N.J., introduced the Gaming Accountability and Modernization Enhancement Act, or GAME Act. And sports books aren't very profitable.
The law exempted Nevada, where sports betting has always been legal, along with sports lotteries in Delaware, Montana and Oregon. Many places have already concluded their 2018 legislative sessions, which could mean state lawmakers can't address the matter until next year.
Major professional and college sports leagues repeatedly sued to block the state from allowing sports betting, and the ensuing legal battles have cost New Jersey taxpayers millions of dollars.
