Everton supremo Moshiri seeks talks with departing Arsenal boss Wenger

Arsene Wenger

The Frenchman will lead out the Gunners for the final time on Sunday following his announcement last month that he will step down after 22 years in charge of the club.

The Premier League will feel so different without Wenger, but sometimes change is needed for the greater good.

In a few years you will have a European league over the weekends.

Elite-level European clubs, he added, would be receptive to the Super League because it would enable them to attack the EPL's financial dominance. A domestic league will certainly play Tuesday and Wednesday. A host of other players are preparing to sign off at their respective clubs this weekend.

"Why at weekends? Because the Champions League doesn't sell well any more".

Arsenal will take on a Huddersfield side that secured draws against Chelsea FC and Premier League champions Manchester City in their last two Premier League games.

"And on the top end, when you look at the modern developments they are booming, you know".

The New York Times says that City and United were joined in the Federation Internationale de Football Association meeting by European rivals Juventus, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

"Taking Arsenal to a different level from all this year, dedicating his life and not only his job, time at the club but all his life for this incredible club and he's the kind of person that will be missed in football but I hope he is still somehow in the game".

"The Premier League will get smaller".

"If you want to make it more attractive you have to go down to 16", Wenger said. "It will be smaller if it [the big teams] goes to Europe".

The 68-year-old has been on a prolonged farewell tour since Arsenal announced on April 20 that he had agreed to part ways with the north London club following another troubled season.

His most cherished memory: "Maybe my first title here because I came completely unknown and in my first full year I won the championship".
