Conor McGregor's 'Barclays Meltdown' Feels Like Staged Fight Promotion

When the fight starts, McGregor will be officially stripped of his title.

Although many believed McGregor would be in attendance since his friend and training partner Artem Lobov will be fighting on the card, White mentioned in the press conference that he does not think McGregor will attend. Nurmagomedov fights Max Holloway for the lightweight championship left vacant by McGregor. When asked if he would like to "be in business with Conor McGregor anymore, he said, would you?"

UFC President Dana White says Conor McGregor has a warrant out for his arrest after allegations McGregor and his entourage attempted to attack a vehicle in the Barclays Center garage in Brooklyn, New York.

White called Thursday's attack "criminal, disgusting and it makes me sick", according to USA Today.

McGregor hasn't fought in MMA since he dominated Eddie Alvarez for the lightweight belt in late 2016, although he famously took a boxing match with Floyd Mayweather last summer.

"You's'll strip me of nothing", he tweeted very early Thursday morning, before calling UFC officials an unprintable word.

Video footage on social media shows the MMA fighter arriving at the event, following by him picking up a barrier, before throwing it in the direction of a door.

Speaking at yesterday's press conference, White finally confirmed the Irishman will lose his title.
