'Fortnite: Battle Royale' launches on iOS
Fortnite Battle Royale is now available for download on iOS devices.
The news came out this morning when Epic took to Twitter to deliver the good news.
Courtesy their excellent business model, it is safe to say that Fortnite has an edge over their rivals and the actual battle royale pioneer, Playerunknown's Battlegrounds. Now Epic has confirmed the game is openly available to everyone.
Have you tried out Fortnite on iOS yet? Speculation then ran rampant about how the vending machine would work, and by and large, the main theories proved correct. The developers are not letting themselves off that easy, this week's Fortnite Update will be bringing a new Vending Machine. The only thing we don't know is when Android devices will be getting the game. This will get you extra gear in the game. Playing on mobile used to be invite only, but now the hype can continue for every gamer who has an iPhone or iPad!
And as if the game wasn't already popular enough, Drake and Travis Scott recently played together in a stream through Twitch with another user, and now people have been gathering to play even more so than before. If possible, they can also trade in or trade out their materials and weapons.
It has been a wild year for Epic, as Fortnite has risen to milestone heights in sales, popularity, and household notoriety. Epic likes to try out different modes instead of the usual solo, duo, and squad options with fun, different types to keep the game fresh.
"We believe this is the future of games". The Fortnite vending machine had been discovered by players just days ago after the most recent patch for the game had them appearing in different locations.
