2018 NFL free agency: Bills have 'some interest' in QB Sam Bradford

Carrera's path to the majors began when he first signed with New York Mets as an amateur free agent in April 2005 out of Guiria, Venezuela.

The Arizona Cardinals are reportedly replacing one Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback with another.

A source told NFL Media's Ian Rapoport Bradford will sign a lucrative one-year contract, which contains an option for a second season.

Arizona is now estimated to have almost $22 million in available cap space, but that's before the expected signing of quarterback Sam Bradford, who will reportedly make $20 million on a one-year deal with an option for 2019.

Nonetheless, Bradford brought stability to the quarterback position.

The Minnesota Vikings acquired Bradford in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles after Teddy Bridgewater suffered a knee injury ahead of the 2016 season.

The former Heisman Trophy victor and first-round pick by the St. Louis Rams in 2010 has made $114 million over his career, but injuries have haunted Bradford. He missed the entire 2014 season with an ACL injury, a year after missing nine games in 2013 with an ACL injury to the same knee.

Bradford has a career completion percentage of 62.5-percent.

The hyped quarterback-rich draft, too, still awaits, where the Browns, Giants, Broncos, Jets and Bills are expected to consider the likes of Sam Darnold, Josh Rosen, Josh Allen, Baker Mayfield and Lamar Jackson. While lighting up the New Orleans Saints in the season opener, Bradford sustained a non-contact left knee injury that would doom his season.

Running back is another area to possibly address in the even their feature back David Johnson gets hurt again, Carlos Hyde, who is a free agent from the 49ers is a name that could be thrown around in their organization. Case Keenum eventually assumed the role and led Minnesota to the NFC Championship Game.
