Conspiracy theory about the biggest NCAA Tournament snubs

Here Are The Biggest Snubs From The 2018 NCAA Tournament Field

An anxious week for the Oklahoma women's basketball team ended with jubilation on Monday night when it learned its string of NCAA Tournament appearances will remain intact. They had their chances to take care of business and get in.

The Sooners have won only six of their last 17 games including a 71-60 defeat to Oklahoma State in the opeing round of the Big 12 Tournament.

TBS' NCAA selection show may not have been a hit with viewers Sunday, to say the very least, but one aspect of the telecast that went over well was Charles Barkley's questioning of Oklahoma's inclusion in the tournament.

The Blue Raiders famously upset Michigan State back in 2016 in the tournament as a No. 15 seed and Minnesota a year ago as a No. 12 seed. The class of 2018, which includes Kyron Cartwright, Rodney Bullock, and Jalen Lindsey, have never missed an NCAA Tournament. The two teams have already played once this season, with DePaul winning 111-108 in overtime in the second game of the season.

The Bulldogs will head to Kansas City soon as their first game will be this weekend.

But none of those teams feature Trae Young, the Oklahoma point guard who leads the nation in points and assists per game and is nearly a lock to go in the lottery of the 2018 NBA Draft. Young leads in assists with 8.8 while Khadeem Lattin tops in rebounds with 6.0 per game.

Bringing home OU's first Freshman of the Year honor adds to a growing list of national recognitions. He and freshman forward Brady Manek (10.4 points) combine to average 37.8 points per game.

The Rhode Island Rams (25-7) are coming from a 58-57 loss to Davidson in the final game of the A10 division.
